Spy Special Report: Queen Anne’s Very Scary Plans
Part 1 - A map that found its way out of Queen Anne’s planning offices shows Kingstown spilling over an area larger than Church Hill and Sudlersville combined.
Part 2 – Seeing for the first time Queen Anne’s County’s map designating Kingstown a high-density growth area, Chestertown Mayor Margo Bailey grimaced.
Part 3 – Even some closely involved in drafting Queen Anne’s new comprehensive plan are outraged and baffled by the county planners’ new map showing enormous growth targeted for Kingstown and Crumpton.
Part 4 – For at least two election cycles the voters of Queen Anne’s County have booted out the County Commissioners they perceived as being friendliest with developers.
Part 5 -Farmers are being snookered by some bankers and developers who are telling them that limiting subdivisions on agricultural lands will cause the value of their properties to plummet.
Editorial – There is at least one good reason why the Chester River community has serious concerns about Queen Anne’s County’s comprehensive land use plan.
