Making Scarecrows is good for the soul! Thanks for taking pics of my scarecrow gals, the Mermaid and the Swinger. Swinger scarecrow got very top heavy in the rain and ended up upside down…and a good humored Chestertownian added the rubber duckies and sail boat to the Mermaid. (Eric G.) Gotta love small town livin!

Thank you for the slide show. For a few minutes it helped slow things down for me…beautiful colors, subjects, events…and my favorite…the carpet of yellow gingko leaves on Cross Street. And thanks to those who organize the events, do the work, march, dance, perform, build the boats and take the pictures that help remind us of the wonderful community that is possible when we work together and celebrate our talents.
